Have Questions?
Rental customers must be at least 20 years old for economy cars, and 23 years old for luxury cars, and have a valid driver’s license of more than 1 year. If this criteria is not met, a higher rental rate and deposit will apply.
Our rental cars come with Basic Insurance coverage that includes Civil Liability/Third-party insurance and a higher financial responsibility in case of damage or theft. We also provide an optional Enhanced insurance package that reduces the financial responsibility. Additionally, customers can choose to buy an add-on insurance package for tires, rims, windshield, and windows, which is an available extra for both Basic and Enhanced Insurance.
Our rental cars are limited to use within the country in which they were rented. If a customer wishes to take the car across borders, written permission from Amber management must be obtained beforehand. Our cars can also be taken on ferries free of charge.
Yes, we provide 24/7 delivery and collection services anywhere within the European Union and Schengen-Zone, from Croatia, to Italy, to Switzerland, and more. We offer delivery to your hotel, office, airport, marina, or any other designated location of your choice. Inform us of your plans, and we will work out a custom solution for you.
Yes, a deposit is required to be left with Amber Drive prior to taking the car, in order to cover any damages that may occur during the rental period. However, you can lower the deposit amount by purchasing our Enhanced Insurance package. This additional insurance coverage reduces your financial responsibility and helps minimize the deposit amount required.
We accept cash, major credit cards and debit cards and bank transfer, for both the rental fee payment and the security deposit.
Yes, all our rental cars at Amber Drive come equipped with high-performance winter tires during the months of November to April. This ensures that our customers can drive confidently and safely in all winter conditions, and have peace of mind during their rental period.
